April 3rd- April 9th 2011

My little baby Ellie turned six months old on Tuesday. She sure is getting big too quick! She is such a cute little girl. She is starting to reach for everything in sight, she has found her tongue, and is starting to suck on her thumb. She is also trying so hard to sit up by herself. She is starting to become a mommys girl. She pouts and starts to cry when unfamiliar faces approach her. She is starting to coo, gurgle and talk a lot. When she lays on the floor on her belly she moves her arms and legs like crazy- it's almost as if she's trying to swim. She has been so good sleeping at night. I usually put her in her crib after her bottle around 9pm and she sleeps until Kailee wakes her up in the morning, usually around 8am. Cute girl!






From what we can tell we think Ellie and Kailee are complete opposites! My pregnancy with Kailee was difficult, Ellie's was easy. Kailees delivery took 2+ hours, Ellie's took 10 + minutes. Kailee couldn't drink milk-based formula, Ellie does. Kailee wouldn't eat rice cereal, Ellie can't get enough of it. Ellie will put herself to sleep, but Kailee has to be held to go to sleep. Kailee is a daddy's girl, Ellie seems to be a mommy's girl. Ellie LOVES to be held and cuddled. Kailee is always in action. When Ellie picks something up, it goes right to her mouth. Kailee never did that. Oh, I know this is only the beginning!

Recently, Kailee has started to change her clothes several times during the day. One morning I had her dressed all cute and had her hair done. Later she came to me with three of her long sleeved onsies and asked me to put them on her. Well, alright weirdo! Then she had to wear her sweat pants. Then, she came back downstairs with her black church shoes on. Kailee, with her own style, as happy as can be!

Another outfit chosen by Kailee! (I think she was upset because she wanted to go bye-bye and we weren't moving quick enough for her!) Yes, we did let her go out in public wearing this!
