At the beginning of the week I got the cleaning bug and cleaned mine and Ryans bedroom top to bottom! I wiped down the walls, the baseboards, moved the furniture and vaccumed under it, cleaned the blinds, the bathroom, took all the clothes out of the closet and dusted the shelves and got rid of clothes and shoes we haven't worn in a long time. Man it sure felt good when I was done. I don't think anyone could tell, but I knew it was done and it was nice! The girls were so good the whole time too. Kailee sat in Ellie's swing and Ellie sat in her Jenny Jump Up. It was nice to get such a big project done!
This week I also went through the closets and dressers in the girls' rooms and reorganized them. Man, I love to declutter!
Ellie had her 6 month Dr Appt on Wednesday and we found out she has fluid in her right ear which could lead to an ear infection. She has been so very grumpy for the past few weeks and I thought it was just because she has had a cold along with the rest of us. The doctor decided to give her an antibiotic since she's had the cold for a while and is now developing an ear infection. Hopefully she will start to feel better soon!
Ellie now weighs 15lbs, 9oz (45%), she is 26 3/4" tall (90%), and her head is 16 3/4" (50%). Growing like a weed! Kailee was soooo good during Ellie's appointment. She just sat in the chair the whole time and ate her crackers. Even Dr. Fruin was impressed! I was so relieved that she behaved well! Good job Kailee!!
After the appointment we met Ryan at the Einstein Bro. Bagels in Bountiful for lunch. It's nice that he has a job that allows him to be flexible with his lunches so we can meet up occasionally!
The weather was actually decent on Saturday so we spent the day outside doing yardwork. Ryan mowed the lawn while I weeded the gardens and the girls played on the swingset. I love it when the sun comes out so we can spend time outside. We got a lot accomplished and the yard looks good!
