April 17th- April 23rd 2011

What a busy week!

On Sunday Ellie sat up all by herself! Good job Ellie Belly! We also noticed that she is starting to get on her hands and knees in crawling position. She sure is a mover already. Sunday evening after Ryan put her pj's on she scooted under her crib and got herself stuck. I'm not ready for her to be moving like that. I still want her to be a newborn baby!

Kailee has also discovered a way to get what she wants out of her closet... Ryan likes to describe Kailee as "determined and successful". If that girl wants something, she will find a way to get it. I love her determination, most of the time!

I spent all of Monday sitting at the computer. Ugh. What a bad day!! After breakfast I thought I would get some papers together to refinance our house. That ended up being a whole day project itself. On top of that project I was helping my mom with her taxes. I have never in my 30 years of living, ever done taxes, and that was the most stressful thing ever. Just because I made it stressful! Oh well. In the end we got them done, printed and mailed. That's what counts I guess.

Tuesday I woke up with major guilt because I didn't spend time with the girls Monday and they kept themselves entertained the entire day. I decided I would spend the day doing something fun with them. So around noon we headed to the Bountiful Rec Center to go swimming. Silly me didn't take any toys for the girls to play with in the water so most of the time we just sat there watching everyone else. At the end we found some little fountains that Kailee had fun playing with. Another Oh Well moment. At least I was spending time with them and I wasn't distracted with other things.

The girls and I spent Wednesday shopping for Easter. Kailee fell asleep shortly after getting into the car so I headed to the Target in Centerville so she could sleep a little bit. I was also hoping that if I headed south I would escape the rain. I feel like we live in Seattle because it has been raining constantly for some reason. Anyhow, I spent some time getting what I needed for some Easter baskets and then just wandered the store looking at any and everything else! After Target we headed to the mall. I needed a white sweater for Ellie to wear on Easter with her dress. Of course, I ended up wandering through a bunch of other stores too!

Thursday we went to an Easter Egg Hunt and luncheon with other moms and kids from our neighborhood. We all met at the church ate lunch and then the kids did an egg hunt. I wasn't sure how Kailee would do or if she would even be interested, but she did good! She was so cute and excited.

Ryan took work off on Friday so he came along with me and the girls to lunch with his Mom and sisters. They took me out to Applebees for lunch for my birthday! After lunch, most of the girls went to Hobby Lobby and Ryan went to Costco with Zach, Kailee and Ellie. What a fun Birthday celebration!

On Saturday we went to our ward Easter party. They had a yummy pancake breakfast and then an egg hunt. It was fun to watch Kailee look for the eggs and she even knew to put them in her basket! Cute kid!
