Happy Pre-Birthday Ryan and Emily!!
The Sunday before Ryans birthday we went up to his family cabin. We had lunch, went to Smith & Morehouse lake, painted glitter toes and celebrated Ryans and Emily's birthdays.



Kailee when we got home from the cabin! It was late and she didn't want to wait for me to get her undressed to get into the tub! Silly girl!

For Ryans actual birthday we went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse YUM... after he got home from a LOOOOOONG day at work!

I didn't tell our waitress it was his birthday, but I did have him wear a pin that said It's My Birthday!! They had him sit on a saddle and they sang to him!! He didn't like it, but I did!! Haha! Hope you had a good birthday Ry! We love you!

We took a field trip to the Ogden Treehouse.
Now, that is a great place! She could play with whatever she wanted and I never had to tell her no!!

She loves to read her books- even if they are upside down!

She is learning to feed herself- with a fork!

She loves to play in the water.
I enjoy her playing in the water too cause it keeps her happy and occupied!

July

We went on a fun, one night camping trip to Monte Cristo. I love that campground! It was sooo pretty and peaceful. Although sleeping on the ground when 6 months pregnant isn't too comfortable and it was pretty cold at night! Being the nice guy that he is, Ryan got up in the middle of the night and moved our bed to the car! Hopefully next year we will be able to go back and stay a few nights (with an air mattress and heater)!




Kailee and I also got to spend some time at the Farmington pool. Sometimes we went with my family, sometimes we went with our friends, but most of the time it was just the two of us!! It was sooo nice to spend the whole day relaxing in the pool and letting Kailee play. Ryan would usually meet us there after work and swim for an hour or two also!! Although these pictures don't show it, Kailee did actually get in the water. By the end of the summer she was actually playing in it and having fun!

June

In June, Ryan and I celebrated our 3rd Wedding Anniversary! Time sure does fly when you're having fun! It doesn't feel like it has been 3 years. For our special day we went to breakfast and then hung out at home. Wow, how things change when you have kids! It was still a good day anyhow.

We also had our first trip to the Zoo as a little family. Kailee wasn't too interested in any of it, but we did have a fun relaxing day!

And, we had our BIG ultrasound! They did verify baby #2 is a GIRL!! (This picture doesn't show that she is a girl, but it does show her cute little profile!)

Add One More for a Family of Four!

In May, we announced that we were expecting baby girl #2. The day after Kailee's 1st birthday party, we made up some cards that were thank you's on the outside and a new baby announcement on the inside. We dropped them off on our family's doorsteps and waited for them to find them! Yes, I was about 4 months when we started to tell everyone! We waited so long to tell everyone because one, I wasn't sure how I felt about having another one so soon and two, I wasn't sure how other people would take the news. After all, Kailee was only 8 months when we found out we were going to add another to the family! Turns out, everyone was excited for us and I didn't have any reason to worry!
