Kailee at 9 months!!

Look at this girl! She is becoming a BIG girl and my BIG "helper"!
She had her 9 month old Dr. Appt today and her stats are: Weight- 17lbs, 7oz (25th percentile), Length- 29.25" (95th percentile), Head Circumference- 17.75" (75th percentile). The Dr. says she is still LONG and Lean! Lucky girl!

She now wants to sit, splash and play in the tub instead of sitting in her chair, she loves to get in our bedroom closet and go through my purse, shoes and clothes, she likes to help with the laundry and still loves to go through my lotions!! When she stands up by the furniture she is starting to let go to try to stand by herself, she claps her hands AND she is crawling up the stairs!

One Saturday night, Steph stopped by to grab something. Ryan and I both went up to the kitchen and left Kailee downstairs in our family room (we have a multi-level so she wasn't too far away from us!). After a few minutes I heard Kailee fussing and went to go get her. That's when I saw her sitting up a stair. What in the world! She had NEVER tried to climb the stairs before. When Steph left we put her at the bottom of the stairs and she climbed them like she had been doing it for years! It seriously still amazes me how fast she learns new things!

Look at that smile too! This girl is ALWAYS so happy and it is contagious when you are around her!

Good thing we have her or I wouldn't have anything to blog about!!

Our Big 8 Month Old!!

Time sure does go quickly!
Our little baby girl isn't so much a baby anymore! She is now officially crawling, pulling herself to a stand, waving, saying ma-ma, da-da, ba-ba and is getting into EVERYTHING! She loves to get into the bathroom cupboard and pull out all my lotions and hair products! Just last night, she pulled herself up by the tv shelf and found the dvd/vcr player, books and my shelf stuff... It sure is fun to watch her learn and grow!

Family Date!

On Saturday, Ryan planned a family date for us and surprised us with a ride on the Heber train. About half way through the train ride, we got off and went to a barn for some hot chocolate and cheesecake and listened to a lady read some cowboy poetry. After that we went on a sleigh ride then got back on the train and headed back to the train station! It was a lot of fun a was definitely a new experience!

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

Since Kailee is only 7months old, Santa didn't really spoil her this year. She got a cell phone, keys, a talking puppy, a ring cone, some hats and more bows. She wasn't really even interested in her toys, just the paper! Ryan and I thought we were pretty silly for wrapping her presents just so WE could open them the very next day! Crazy!

After presents, we went with my family to our annual breakfast at Little America! We always look forward to going there. After breakfast we stopped by Ryans moms and hung out for a while with the family, then headed to Stephs house for dinner and games!

For New Years Eve we went to dinner at Sizzler and then headed to the Parkinsons (our Neighbors) house for dessert and games! We had a good time! I am surprised we were actually able to stay up that late! Kailee took a nap for a little while, but woke up just in time for the New Year! Welcome 2010!!
